Review of the NSW Aboriginal Mental Health Worker Training Program (2009)
This report documents the first year of the Aboriginal Mental Health Worker Training Program. The State-wide Program has had a good beginning. It has a strong policy framework, Ministerial Executive champions and Area Health Service support. However, it is a work in progress. A large body of work remains to be undertaken to ensure that the Program is strong and sustainable. The report identifies activities and projects to further develop the Program.
